Hawaiian Airlines Aviation Day is what you make of it. We have created a place where you can experience and learn about the variety of careers available here in the State of Hawaii, at Hawaiian Airlines. This day is designed to be fun and interactive, so be curious and courteous. Our Team Kōkua volunteers along with outside exhibitors put this day together so learn all you can from them.
 
Before you arrive
Read through our FAQ sheet and be on time for your check-in for your designated wave. 

Parking
While parking is available, it will be limited. We encourage carpooling whenever possible. Click here for parking instructions.

Checking in on the day of the event
During check-in you will receive a small gift from Hawaiian Airlines, your group number with designated schedule, and wristband. The wristband is your admission into the event. Wristbands are to be worn by adults as well.

Photo Engagement
During your visit, look for the photo engagement opportunities in each room. Remember to take a photo of your experience and upload it to the designated link provided during the event. Photography is not permitted in the hangar. Images of aircraft mid-maintenance can be easily misrepresented or misconstrued without proper context. Please ask a volunteer before capturing photos.

Transport between facilities
A bus will be available to take you between the Koapaka facility and the hangar. Please allow 10-minutes travel time between buildings by bus and a 5 minute walk from the shuttle stop back into the Koapaka facility. The bus pickup will be at the end of Koapaka St. and directly in front of the Elliot St. hangar entrance and will run every 30 minutes.

Lunch and beverages 
We will be providing a meal and beverages to all participants, at Koapaka. If you are scheduled for a later session, please note the designated meal times noted in the FAQs and plan accordingly. Bottled Water and a snack will also be available at the Hangar. If you have special dietary needs, please bring your own meal.
