Registration process

Primary chaperones - please carefully read the following instructions for registering attendees. You are responsible for registering yourself, any additional chaperones, and all youths within your group.

  • Enter your information (as the primary chaperone) below. You will be your group's main point of contact.
  • Select "Continue" to progress to the "Add group member" page. By clicking the "Add group member" button, you can add any additional chaperones, and all youths attending.
    • Do not add the primary chaperone again.
  • There is limit on number of chaperones due to our venue capacity:
    • Hawaiian Airlines requests that for every adult/chaperone, there be at least 3 youth. The maximum number of youth per chaperone is 4 youth per chaperone.
  • You can modify your group's registration (including adding or canceling students) at any time using the link in your confirmation email.
  • Space is limited - and registration is on a first come, first served basis.
  • We collect email addresses solely for the purpose of sending event information. We don’t sell or share any email addresses to third parties or send information not pertaining to Aviation Day.

Planning your visit to Aviation Day

The event offers four options for check-in times: 845AM, 1045AM, 11AM, or 1PM which will determine when and where you check in.

  • 845AM or 1045AM: Please park at AIPA per the instructions and check in at the Hawaiian Airlines Headquarters at Koapaka (3375 Koapaka St., G-350, Honolulu, HI 96819)
  • 11AM or 1PM: Please park at AIPA per the instructions and catch the shuttle to our Hawaiian Airlines Hangar location (277 Elliot St., Honolulu, HI 96819)

The Hawaiian Airlines Headquarters experience will take you through several presentations from key members of our operation and management functions on a timed schedule. While the hangar portion of the experience will be free-flowing. Please sign up for a session that works best for your schedule while accounting for the meal schedule.

A light meal and beverages will be provided for all participants at our Koapaka location.

  • If you are in Wave 1, your meal will be at provided 1125AM
  • Wave 2, your meal will be provided at 125PM
  • Wave 3, your meal will be provided at 325PM
  • Wave 4, your meal will be provided at 505PM
  • You are welcome to bring additional snacks if you would like to. We ask that anyone with special food requirements, please bring a meal that meets those requirements.

We encourage everyone to make time for a visit to both the Hawaiian Airlines headquarters and the hangar. There is no parking at the Hangar building. Buses will transport participants between HQ and Hangar, continually throughout the day. Please allow at least 15 minutes to go between locations. Activities will conclude at HQ at 530pm and 5pm at the hangar. To help ensure a steady flow of traffic between locations, we strongly encourage hangar visits to be between 1-2 hours maximum.

Wave selection - 75 youth spots per wave

The current number of registered youths for each wave is listed below. The maximum number of youths we can accommodate in each wave is 75 - please choose a wave that has enough spots remaining for your group, or you may have to start your registration over and choose a different wave.
